Since 1984, Mr. Telsey has been President and sole shareholder of Andrew I. Telsey, P.C., Centennial, Colorado, a law firm emphasizing securities law, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for public and privately held development stage and emerging growth companies throughout both the US and internationally, including Russia, China, Mexico, Canada, Switzerland, Germany and several other countries. During 2014 and 2015, Mr. Telsey was Of Counsel to the firm of Vicente Sederberg, Denver, Colorado, a firm specializing in providing legal services to the cannabis industry. From July 2017 through July 2021, Mr. Telsey was Of Counsel to the Hoban Law Group, the largest cannabis law firm in the US, where he was the lead attorney in the securities department. Mr. Telsey has also engaged in numerous business opportunities and entrepreneurial endeavors, including as a partner in two Colorado licensed medical cannabis retail locations during 2010 through 2012, performed international due diligence studies for various international financing opportunities and other business situations. ​

Mr. Telsey received a Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1979 and a Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude, from Ithaca College in 1975. He was also named as one of Denver’s Top Lawyers by the Denver Post in 2015-2018.​
