Prior to establishing 7MileFS, in March 2024, Parla served as an Executive Director at CIBC Capital Markets, where she led US Securitization and ABS Banking & Syndication activities. During her tenure at CIBC from August 2021 to March 2024, Parla introduced new asset classes to the bank’s lending portfolio and expanded the ABS business. Before joining CIBC, she spent 14 years at Credit Agricole, responsible for origination and structuring of asset-backed financing with main focus on transportation, infrastructure and esoteric assets. Parla’s career began at Moody’s, where she advanced through roles that honed her skills in credit risk and financial analysis.​
